Karolinka Malinka!!

So, at the end of April one of my favourite people came to visit me...Karolinka. She came down with her boyfriend and I got to chill with them downtown and go out for sushi. I hadn't seen Karolinka in ages and we have been cousin sister bestfriends for as long as I can remember. I miss her greatly and it is always such a treat when I get to see her, even if it is only for a few hours. This picture was taken on Queens St. West at some Java place. I can't remember what it is called right now (darn it), but we chilled and had a beer.

Actually we go way back. Our moms grew up in the same building in Poland, our dad went to the same school, and my mom met my dad through her mom. Our families are great friends and I hope that our friendship will tie our two families for generations to come. I remember the first time she came to Canada...we bonded over light bright. You know you are an 80's child if you played with light bright...that and listening to Madonna.

This is picture is from the last time she was in Toronto. It was last summer and she came to vist with her Grandma and her mom. Her grandmother was in Canada visiting them and they decided to bring her to Toronto and show her the sites. This picture was actually taken in the back yard of my aunts house where we had a yummy barbeque.

So, here are a few of my favourite pictures of us. The one on the balcony is at my old apartment. We used to have slumber parties on my balcony and we would sneak out to the 711 at night for slurpees and then stay up all night eating candy staring at the stars. We even took a picture similar to that one when we were old, but we were holding a $2 dollar bill.

The picture on the right was taken when Karolinka took me to one of my first concerts...which was a big deal because I almost was not allowed to go. She took me to go see the Beastie Boys and it was Awesome!!

I really do have some awesome memories and I wish I got to see her more. Despite how far apart we live and how little we get to see each other, we still are the best of friends...more like sisters actually.

It's Been Awhile...

Hey Everyone!! So it has been awhile since I have written anything. I can't help it that life has been super busy...but that is no excuse. I should keep updating this thing or else people are going to lose interest. So where do I begin...hmm...well I am finally done school. I ended exams at the end of April, the earliest I have ever finished. And, I may add that upon finishing exams I had a few exciting things happen. I went to my cousins confirmation and even had a few close family friends come to Toronto and visit me. Don't I feel special :)

So my cousin, Ania, the one in the middle was confirmed on Saturday April 29th. The church was packed and I sat in the balcony area of the church so I barely got to see any of her during mass. But we took tons of pictures after and even the semi-candid one when walking back to the car. Later that evening we had one huge dinner. My aunt cooks delicious food and I literally stuffed my face. MMmmmm good.

Anyway, I'd continue with the update but I am getting a little tired. I will do the rest of it tomorrow...well actually today...but later on in the day when there is actually son out (its 3am in the morning right now). Yes, I know, I am insane. I can't help that I just don't sleep like normal people. Anyway, I'll fill you in on the visit from Karolinka and Matt later. Either way enjoy the other pics of my two awesome cousins, Ania and Eva!!

These are pictures we took a few years back but they are some of my favourite pictures. It was such a beautiful day and we went out side and just took millions of pictures. It was awesome!! We had soooo much fun that day. Well talk to you later.

Just Some Rambling

Hey There everyone. So its me again. Once again testing out this new page thing-a-ma-jiggy. I am not really sure how all of this works. I mean there are so many different kinds of these things. There is the "My MSN" page and I even have a Live Journal account because I wanted to post something on somebody's site once...but which is actually better. Are any of those better than this blog thing, or easier to operate? Do any of you know?

So here are a picture of my parents. Who do you think I look the most like? I know this picture is pretty random but I am trying to create a longer blog with multiple sets of writing and pictures. I am attempting to learn. Are you bored yet?

This is me looking bored...mostly because that was the most boring and confusing book I ever had to read...its Foucault. Not really horrible, but was a mission to read. Actually I dont think I read more than what you see me doing here at this moment.
